Q: Who is Global Image Australia?

A: Global Image Australia is a totally Australian owned and operated business set up for the purpose of providing a distinctive range of Australian Products MADE IN AUSTRALIA or designed in Australia and featuring Australiana images as well as photographic services.

We only sell our products via this website. Our office and warehouse are located in St Andrews in the State of Victoria in Australia. Our registered business name is "Global Image Australia ",) and our Australian Business Number is 66 734 922 674.


Q: Are the shipment, packing and handling costs applied to each product?

A: No the shipment is $10.00 Australia wide $15.00 world wide for each order made with no limit on the amount of products for each order.


Q: Where are your products made?

A: ALL OF OUR PRINTED PRODUCTS ARE MADE IN AUSTRALIA.

However, quite a few of our souvenir lines are not.
These include :
Magnets, mugs, plates and  key rings
These items are "Made in China"


Q: How can I ensure your shopping site is safe and secure?

A: We sell exclusively using Secure Pay Transactions accepting Credit Cards payments by employing SSL (secure sockets layer) 128-bit encryption (check for the lock or unbroken key at the bottom of your browser before you provide your card details).

Q: Do you stock products with images of Australian icons/landscapes?

A: Most of our products feature Australian Photographic Images as well as Australiana paintings. Many of these display images of Australian iconic fauna such as kangaroos. However, for images of typical or iconic Australian landscapes, the range of Landscape Photographs of Australia by Jörg Heumüller is a superb offering. These beautiful decor pieces are available both framed and unframed.


Q: What payment options do you offer?

A: For everyday retail sales through our shopping cart we offer two (2) methods of payment to customers. They are :

1. ONLINE BY CREDIT CARD using MasterCard or Visa
(or online directly through a Secure Pay account but only if you have one)
2. NON-INTERNET BY CHEQUE.

Our small retail sales are almost ALL ONLINE BY CREDIT CARD. We operate on quick order fulfillment using air mail and the efficiency of the web for international sales transactions.

We take postal money orders within Australia. However, this is not possible from outside Australia using Australia Post.

Bank Account Direct Deposits are also accepted within Australia. Again, the only way for an international direct deposit is to make a telegraphic
transfer (or wire).

We do take telegraphic transfers for wholesale export sales, although they are not practical for small transactions because they cost a minimum of $30, regardless of how small the amount being transferred.

Aside from Internet payments (involving mainly credit cards), this leaves us with only one other option. This option is payment by cheque. Again, we certainly take lots of cheques within Australia. Internationally, if we receive a cheque in another currency (eg. in US$ Dollars or GB₤ Pounds) then we must pay our bank $10 for the cheque currency conversion fee.

However, the main issue here is the time it takes to deliver the cheque to Australia and then to wait for the cheque to clear before the order can be dispatched.

When paying by cheque, a customer must be willing to pay the extra cost for the cheque currency conversion fee and willing to wait approximately 6 to 7 weeks before receiving the goods. After receiving an order to be paid by cheque, we email the customer an invoice outlining the total price (including cheque currency conversion fee and postage cost) in their own currency.

However, if you purchase online using your MasterCard or Visa credit card, you will receive the goods within 10 to14 business days.

Q: Do you have a print catalogue?

A: No, we do not have a print catalogue, although our full retail catalogue is available online. Simply click on any "Wholesale" link on our Website for our categorized catalogue.


Q: When am I likely to receive the goods I purchased from your online shop?

A: Our stated delivery times begin from the moment your packaged order leaves our warehouse. This is referred to as dispatch (or despatch) of the goods. We send all international orders through Australia Post by Air Mail from Australia. Domestic orders (within Australia) are also sent by Australia Post.

The average delivery time to the USA, Europe, Britain, Japan and Canada is within 8-14 days. Delivery to our South-East Asian neighbors, such as Singapore or Brunei, is usually within 10 days.

If you make payment by cheque (non-Internet) you need to be willing to wait approximately 6 to 7 weeks before receiving the goods. This is due to the time it takes to deliver the cheque to Australia and then to wait for the cheque to clear before the order can be dispatched.


Q: When are orders dispatched?
When are orders dispatched?

A: Even during our busiest times, all orders are dispatched (and delivery begins) within 7 days of your online order. However, most orders (except those placed when the post office is closed on weekends) are dispatched within 24 hours.

If you make payment by cheque (non-Internet), we wait for the cheque to clear before dispatching the order.


Q: What is your policy on refunds?

A: Customer satisfaction is our primary concern. When we issue a customer refund we include original shipping/postage charges too.

If a customer is not 100% satisfied with the quality of a product due to damage or a fault in that product, on the return of the item we give the customer a refund of 100% of the purchase price including original shipping/postage charges too.

However, in some instances, at our reasonable discretion, it is necessary for us to observe the damage or fault (either physically or by emailed image) before considering whether a refund is warranted and before agreeing to refund the customer. We supply a number of totally handmade products/artifacts which display markings and inconsistencies that are an inherent part of the very nature of the product, rather than what may be perceived as damage or a fault.


Q: How do I know my credit card details are safe with you?

A: Your billing data (like your credit card number) is NEVER disclosed to Global Image Australia. YOUR CREDIT CARD PAYMENT IS PROCESSED IMMEDIATELY, IN REAL-TIME. CREDIT CARD NUMBERS ARE SENT DIRECTLY AND SECURELY TO YOUR BANK. YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER IS NOT STORED ONLINE.


Q: What credit cards and debit cards do you accept?

A: We accept Visa and MasterCard.


Q: How can I recognise the transaction on my credit card statement?

A: Payments are processed through our Internet Payment Service, SecurePay Australia.
Your purchase transaction will appear in your credit card statement or bank statement (if you use a debit card) as "SECUREPAY*GLOBAL IMAGE AUSTRALIA".


Q: What do you do with my private details, such as my email address?

A: We are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of information you provide to us. Global Image Australia will never give, sell, rent or lease customer information to third parties.

When you buy our products, your credit card payments are handled by SecurePay, our secure online payment service. Your contact data (like your email address) is disclosed to Global Image Australia for order fulfillment, delivery and customer support purposes only and is kept confidential by Global Image Australia.
